Special Clean Air Offer
There are a few simple actions we can take to make sure that when we drive, we do it cleaner. By taking advantage of the two great Clean Air coupons* below, the UNM community can now do it cheaper. Click on the items below.

Tire Pressure and Regular Maintenance
Tire pressure is a critical factor in both the safety and the fuel economy of your vehicle. Under-inflated tires aren't just hazardous, but can prove a serious strain on the vehicle's engine -and that means using considerably more fuel. A properly maintained vehicle runs better and longer and will better help pay for itself in the -literal- long run. Here are some suprising facts:

• Proper tire pressure can improve gas mileage by 3%
• Keeping your engine up-to-date with emissions testing and properly tuned can improve gas mileage by an average of 4%
• Checking and replacing air filters regularly can improve gas mileage by as much as 10%
• Using the recommended grade of motor oil can improve gas mileage by up to 2%
