Construction of Yale/Lomas Parking Structure
Commencing Monday, October 19th 2009
Parking and Transportation Services announces the commencement of construction on the new Yale/Lomas parking structure (otherwise known as the BBER Lot) beginning Monday, October 19th 2009. Scheduled completion is for fall, 2010.
During the interim period, all J Lot permit holders will be moved to T Lot. Due to the anticipated shortfall in C Lot spaces, C Lot permit holders will also be permitted to park in T Lot. T Lot is large enough to comfortably accommodate the new influx of traffic. Additionally, if desired, permit holders may exchange their permits for G Lot with the right to return to C or J permits after completion, and will have first priority to purchase structure permits.

Though we appreciate the great inconvenience construction will cause our customers, PATS is confident that the inception of the new parking structure will greatly alleviate parking congestion in the future.

Please contact us at 277-1938, or 277-5692 if you have any questions about this transition period. You may also direct email questions to Brian Kilburn, Public Information Representative, at bkilburn@parking.unm.edu.
