UNM PARKING PERMITS: DORM STUDENT

Dorm Permits 101

We offer several different types of permits for students who live in UNM's Residence Halls. Permits for our four residential parking zones (D, R, E and Structure) are sold on a contract term basis, currently two semesters.

The type of permit you will be able to purchase is strictly determined by availability. Order early to get the zone you want. Annual contract renewal customers get first preference

Where to Buy Your Permit

Resident Hall permits are only sold through the Housing Services website after all reservation arrangements have been completed. All dorm permits will be mailed to the customer's SRC mailbox.

If residency is cancelled at any time before or during the semester, residents must turn the residential permit in at the Housing Services desk to receive any applicable refund. Any permit not turned in at the time of cancellation will be invalidated and the user will be subject to fines and fees of at least $100.00 if the permit is used on campus.

Permit Renewal

Permits must be purchased online before the beginning of the Fall semester or Summer Semester and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis through either the Parking and Transportation or Housing Services websites.
