Event and Transportation Services Policy

Event Shuttle Request and Cancellation Policy
The UNM Transportation division is staffed, equipped, and organized to support park and ride shuttle services; however, shuttle support for events is available on a limited basis. Event shuttle support will generally be provided if resources are available to adequately support park and ride requirements and the event(s).

Requests for Transportation Support
To request event support, complete and submit a Transportation Request Form and send it to the PATS Event Coordinator, fax 277-1709, email cevans@unm.edu. Event support requests may be submitted 45 - 30 days before the event. Requestors should keep in mind that each event is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Requests are generally approved or disapproved in writing within 10 business days. Requestors are responsible for providing accurate information on the Transportation request Form. Once the event is approved, any changes must be sent to the event coordinator for further reevaluation.

Cancellation of Approved Transportation Request
If you must cancel event support, let the event coordinator know as soon as possible. Some cancellations may result in fees to cover administrative and other expenses.

  1. If your approved cancellation is received at least 72 business hours prior to the scheduled time/date of the event, an administrative fee may be charged (generally equivalent of one half-hour of service). The fee covers administrative, scheduling, cleaning, and pre-inspection costs.
  2. Cancellations of approved requests less than 72 business hours prior to the event will result in fees (generally a one half-hour charge).
