A vendor parking permit is required for all vendors needing to park a vehicle on campus while doing business.

The annual cost for a vendor permit is currently $524, prorated from August to August, and can only be purchased from Parking Services.

Vendors must prove eligibility with either a UNM purchase order or a copy of service contract in order to purchase the permit.

In Summary:

  • All vendors must purchase and display a UNM Vendor Permit whenever they are on campus.
  • Vendors displaying a current and valid UNM Vendor permit may park in any regular permit space as well as Service Vehicle spaces.
  • Vendor parking in official vehicle spaces is prohibited at all times.
  • Parking is always prohibited in red fire zones, yellow safety zones, sidewalks, and areas not designated as parking areas.
  • Reserved spaces may be used if authorized by the reserved space owner. Check with the contracting department about reserved space use. Make sure the person authorizing reserved space use has the authority to do so.
  • Check with the department about using building loading docks. Loading docks are regulated by the building manager. Make sure the person authorizing use of the loading dock has the authority to do so.
