PATS Event Planning and Support Services
Is your school, college, or department hosting an event on campus? Are you a for-profit or non-profit organization in need of event services during your time at UNM? Do you need assistance with parking or transportation solutions? No problem! UNM Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) offers a variety of services to ensure your event runs smoothly with less stress and in a timely manner. Park at your own risk! Read the full parking liability waiver.
PATS employees work collaboratively to ensure event services run efficiently and effectively to give you peace of mind. Our enforcement officers offer traffic control, cones, and barricades securing parking options for event participants. Our transportation drivers are staffed, equipped, and organized to support shuttle services. Shuttle support is available for events on a limited basis. Event shuttle services generally are provided if resources are available to adequately support Park & Ride requirements and the event(s). Event shuttle services are limited to a 100-mile radius from UNM Main campus.
Transportation Support Request
To request event support, complete and submit a Support Request Form. Event support requests may be submitted 30-45 days prior to the event. Requestors should keep in mind that each event is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Requests are generally approved or disapproved in writing within 10 business days. Requestors are responsible for providing accurate information on the Support Request Form. Once the event is approved, any changes must be sent to the event coordinator for further reevaluation.
Cancellation of Approved Request
If you must cancel event support services, let the event coordinator know as soon as possible. Some cancellations may result in fees to cover administrative costs and other expenses.
- If your approved cancellation is received within 72 business hours prior to the scheduled time/date of the event, an administrative fee may be charged (generally equivalent of one half-hour of service). The fee covers administrative, scheduling, cleaning, and pre-inspection costs.
- Cancellations of approved requests less than 72 business hours prior to the event will result in fees (generally a two hour minimum charge).
PATS Event Services & Options decrease as the event date draws nearer. Contact PATS during the planning stage of your event.
