UNM Shuttle System
SHUTTLE SYSTEM
Designed for rapid and convenient campus travel, PATS’ transportation system is a comprehensive transit network, offered free of charge* to UNM students, staff, faculty, and visitors. We offer multiple bus routes on campus with service to every area of The University including UNM commuter parking lots.
*ACC-Lobo Village is not considered part of the UNM main campus and residents are required to pay a one-time annual non-refundable parking and transportation fee to Lobo Village.

Timed Routes
Mesa del Sol Shuttle –
Services Mesa del Sol via Golf Course. Departs from George Pearl Hall.
Night Bus – North & South – Provides easier, more efficient connections between North, South and main Campus. During the Fall and Spring semesters (Monday–Thursday from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.) the night bus combines the South Lot, Lobo Village/SSSC, G/Q, and Redondo routes into one timed route, with shuttles every 10 minutes at major stops.
Rail Runner Shuttle – Provides free service between UNM main campus and the Downtown New Mexico Rail Runner Station, the Alvarado Transportation Center (ATC).
Rainforest Shuttle – Connects the Lobo Rainforest and UNM main campus from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday & 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday. See timed route here.
ATC (Alvarado Transportation Center)/Rail Runner - Operates Monday through Friday on the following schedule:
- Depart ATC at 7:30 a.m., arrive Dane Smith 7:45 a.m.
- Depart ATC at 8:55 a.m. arrive Dane Smith 9:15 a.m.
- Depart Dane Smith at 3:45 p.m., arrive ATC at 4:00 p.m.
- Depart Dane Smith at 5:05 p.m., arrive ATC at 5:25 p.m.
- Depart Dane Smith at 6:20 p.m., arrive ATC at 6:35 p.m.

ABQ RIDE Bus Pass Sticker Program
Eligible UNM students, faculty, and staff can ride ABQ RIDE (City of Albuquerque Transit System) for free with a bus pass sticker. Stickers must be renewed every Fall at the start of the academic year. Find out more about our ABQ RIDE Bus Pass Sticker Program.
