Pay Station Malfunction Over the Weekend at UNM
July 7, 2021
UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to alert the UNM community and campus visitors that some customers who used the pay stations in surface lots at UNM over the holiday weekend (July 1-5, 2021) may have been charged more than once for their parking transaction.
Flowbird (aka Parkeon), the vendor for the surface pay station system, reached out Tuesday morning (July 6, 2021) to make us aware of the situation and the steps they are taking to correct the issue.
Please be sure to check your account for possible overcharges and note that Flowbird has begun processing refunds to affected customers.
If you were overcharged by Flowbird and do not see a correction in your account after 7-10 days, please contact UNM PATS finance office at (505) 277-9506 and leave a message with the following information:
- Your name and contact information, including a phone number
- Approximate date and time of pay station system use
- Amount of overcharge(s)
- The last four (4) digits of the credit card used and the card type (e.g. VISA, Master Card, American Express or Discover)
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. Please call UNM PATS if you have any questions.
