CCAT Construction & Parking Relocations - 10.14.2024

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform A-lot & R-lot permit holders and the UNM community effective Monday, October 14 construction projects will restrict parking in certain lots. In preparation of, the Center for Collaborative Arts & Technology (CCAT) construction, PATS is making several adjustments to our parking solutions. Here is what you need to know:

AFFECTED PARKING LOTS:

  • R/E-Lot near Central Avenue and Girard Boulevard
    • Will be designated as an A/E-lot
  • A-Lot near Central will be permanently closed due to construction as of 10/14/2024

PARKING RELOCATIONS:

  • R-Lot permit holders may utilize the following lots:
    • R-lots along Girard Boulevard
    • R-lot along Campus Boulevard, completion date estimated for 10/16/2024
    • R-lot near Hokona Hall or the IT building
    • R-lot Overflow, dirt lot, North of Yale Parking Structure
  • A-Lot permit holders may utilize the following lot:
    • New A/E-lot located near Central Avenue and Girard Boulevard
    • A-lot near Student Services

AVOID PARKING CITATIONS:

  • Properly display your parking permit. If using a sunshade, ensure the permit is visible on review mirror or on driver side dashboard. Permit number and expiration date must be visible. Visit unm.edu/citations for permit placement & better parking tips.
  • Observe parking restrictions. Never park in spaces designated with special signage, such as ADA, reserved, official/service vehicle only, or loading zones.
