CCAT Construction & Parking Relocations - 10.14.2024

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform A-lot & R-lot permit holders and the UNM community effective Monday, October 14 construction projects will restrict parking in certain lots. In preparation of, the Center for Collaborative Arts & Technology (CCAT) construction, PATS is making several adjustments to our parking solutions. Here is what you need to know:
AFFECTED PARKING LOTS:
- R/E-Lot near Central Avenue and Girard Boulevard
- Will be designated as an A/E-lot
- A-Lot near Central will be permanently closed due to construction as of 10/14/2024
PARKING RELOCATIONS:
- R-Lot permit holders may utilize the following lots:
- R-lots along Girard Boulevard
- R-lot along Campus Boulevard, completion date estimated for 10/16/2024
- R-lot near Hokona Hall or the IT building
- R-lot Overflow, dirt lot, North of Yale Parking Structure
- A-Lot permit holders may utilize the following lot:
- New A/E-lot located near Central Avenue and Girard Boulevard
- A-lot near Student Services
AVOID PARKING CITATIONS:
- Properly display your parking permit. If using a sunshade, ensure the permit is visible on review mirror or on driver side dashboard. Permit number and expiration date must be visible. Visit unm.edu/citations for permit placement & better parking tips.
- Observe parking restrictions. Never park in spaces designated with special signage, such as ADA, reserved, official/service vehicle only, or loading zones.
