Road Closure at Yale between Lomas & Camino de Salud: November 12-15

November 10, 2021

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform customers that due to construction on North Campus, Yale Blvd. between Lomas and Camino de Salud will be closed starting 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 through 6:00 a.m. Monday, Nov.15.

The contractor for the new hospital tower project will be erecting one of two stationary cranes next to Yale during this time. Most of the work is scheduled to be done over the weekend to reduce the impact on UNM and UNMH traffic.

Alternate Vehicle Access

Access to the UNM Hospital/Barbara and Bill Richardson Pavilion (BBRP) north entrance (including the current patient parking structure) will be avilable via University to Tucker, then from Tucker to the new Camino section and on to the BBRP.

Please plan for extra time in your commute and, as always, be aware of construction workers while travelling in the area.

As noted in previous notifications and throughout all phases of construction work, steps are being taken to help mitigate potential traffic and access issues in the affected area(s). Notifications will be sent out periodically to permit holders to inform you of additional changes, utility outages, parking lot and/or road closures.
