Construction in A-Student Services Lot

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform customers of upcoming construction activity that will impact parking spaces in the A-Student Services Lot beginning Monday, Dec. 20. Here’s what you need to know:
Construction Project
ESA Construction is scheduled to begin work to replace stairwells at the Student Resource Center (SRC) apartments. The project is scheduled to be completed in three phases and ESA Construction estimates the duration of this project to be one year. Phase 1, which starts on Monday, Dec. 20, will consist of replacing the stairs on buildings D, F and G on the west side of the SRC apartments.
Parking Impacts
The scheduled construction work will require the closure of several parking spaces in A- Student Service lot for the duration of the project, which is approximately 1 year. The number of regular “A” parking spaces in the lot will be impacted during this time. Customerswho are used to parking in A- Student Services lot, may need to park in the “A” lot located south of Johnson Field on Redondo Drive, between Princeton and Stanford.
Throughout all phases of construction work, steps will be taken to help mitigate potential traffic and access issues in the affected area(s). Notifications will be sent out periodically to inform you of project progress and additional changes or closures. Please plan extra time in your commute as you may need to park in a different A zone and be aware of workers while in the area. Thank you for your patience during this time.
