Automatic Renewal of Annual Parking Permits for UNM Faculty and Staff - Academic Year 2024-25

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) is reaching out to remind those of you with an active Academic Year 2023-24 (AY23-24) parking permit, paid for through payroll deduction, about the upcoming automatic renewal process for the Academic Year 2024-25 (AY24-25) parking permits.
Automatic Renewal Dates and Actions Required:
The automatic renewal of your AY24-25 parking permit is scheduled to be processed on the weekend of Saturday, July 27. However, if you do not wish to have your current UNM parking permit renewed, please complete and submit the online "Do Not Renew Permit Request" form no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24. Failure to do so will result in the delivery of your AY24-25 permit, which you will need to bring it to our office to have your payroll deduction stopped.
Mailing Address Verification/Update:
To ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of your AY24-25 parking permit, we kindly request that you verify/update your mailing address information in UNM IT's Demographic Self Service (DDS) application before Wednesday, July 24.
Permit Delivery and Assistance:
The permits automatically renewed for the AY24-25 season will be mailed starting on Monday, August 5. Please anticipate the arrival of your permit at your mailing address within 3–7 business days from that date. If you have signed up for automatic payroll deduction and have not received your AY24-25 parking permit by Wednesdsay, August 14, please contact the UNM PATS Business Office at 505-277-1938 (Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m.) or visit us at 2401 Redondo Dr. NE (across from UNM Bookstore and George Pearl Hall).
Renewal Instructions for Non-Payroll Deduction Customers:
For UNM faculty, staff, and other customers not on payroll deductions, e.g., those who purchase their permits with a credit card, please visit the UNM PATS’ Business Office to renew your permit in person, starting from Wednesday, July 31. The deadline for renewing your AY24-25 permit is Sunday, September 1.
Important Dates to Remember:
Please note that the current AY23-24 parking permits are valid through Sunday, August 18. To avoid possible citations, ensure that your new AY24-25 parking permit is properly displayed in your vehicle starting Monday, August 19, which marks the beginning of the fall semester.
