PATS Parking & Bicycle Quick Guide
August 23, 2023
UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to provide essential parking and bicycle details for a hassle-free journey to and around UNM. If you plan to park your vehicle on UNM’s Albuquerque campuses during the academic year, you must display a valid Academic Year 2023-24 (AY23-24) parking permit from UNM PATS or utilize hourly parking options.
PATS Parking Permits
- Already purchased? Great, you should have received your parking permit in the mail over these past few days. If not, rest assured it is on the way.
- Need to purchase?* You have the option to purchase through the PATS Parking Portal online or in-person at the PATS Business office, 2401 Redondo Drive Northeast, Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- *Keep in mind, several parking permit options are sold out.
- Displaying Your Permit: To avoid citations, make sure to properly display your AY23-24 parking permit (annual or "fall-only") or pay station receipt. Your permit is valid starting Monday, Aug. 21.
Pay Station & Visitor Parking
- Pay stations: PATS provides pay stations in multiple surface lots throughout the campus. The new Pay-by-Plate program makes it easier to pay for hourly parking across UNM Albuquerque campuses.
- Visit the PATS website for both the written instructions and video tutorial.
- ParkMobile: Allows users to purchase hourly parking in the Cornell and Yale parking structures using a smart phone, web browser or by simply calling ‘ParkMobile.’ Download the app on Android or iOS.
