Tucker Avenue Construction Notice - Date: Pending

Construction Notice: Pending Temporary Closure of Tucker Avenue
UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform G, Q, L, M, and N permit holders and the North Campus community that as part of the construction of the College of Nursing and Public Health Excellence (CON-PHE) building, Tucker Avenue will be completely closed between the entrance to the M-Dental Lot (lot immediately north of Novitski Hall) and the entrance to the NM Court of Appeals. The Tucker closure will start within the next three to four weeks. Here’s what you need to know:
- Start date of this project has not yet been determined but will occur sometime within the next 2-3 weeks. Once we have an official start date, UNM PATS will send formal notices.
- To access parking for buildings located west of the Tucker closure, e.g. North Golf Course’s west lot, Children’s Psychiatric Center, the Pete & Nancy Domenici Hall (aka MIND facility) and Novitski Hall use Lomas to Yale and/or University to Tucker.
- To access parking for buildings located east of the Tucker closure, e.g. Bratton Hall (Law School), Court of Appeals, Health Sciences Center’s campus including Family Practice and Domenici Center, use Stanford Drive to Tucker.
- Passengers taking the G/Q and Redondo shuttles will need to give themselves an extra 10 minutes for the additional commute time as the shuttle buses will be detouring around the Tucker closure via Lomas Blvd.
- L, M and N permit (including reserved) holders should give themselves an extra time in their travel to detour around the Tucker closure.
