Alvarado Lot Closure – 10.19 to 10.20.2024

UNM Parking & Transportation Services is notifying our R permit holders effective the weekend of Saturday, October 19 the R-Lot near Alvarado Hall will be closed due to restriping the parking lot. Here’s what you need to know:
PROJECT INFORMATION:
- R-lot near Alvarado and Onate Halls will be CLOSED
- Lot will be restriped to increase the amount of available parking spaces
- Parking lot will be closed from Saturday, October 19 to Sunday, October 20 with barricades in place
- Permit holders will need to move their vehicles prior to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 18
- Reserved Space owners will receive a direct email with a map indicating their temporary reserved space location.
PARKING INFORMATION:
- R-Lot permit holders may utilize the following lots:
- R-lots along Girard Boulevard (Coronado and Redondo Village R-Lots).
- R-lot along Campus Boulevard, estimated completion date 10/16/2024
- Need assistance with reverse angle or back-in parking? CABQ has provided a how-to video available at CABQ Transit
- R-lot near Hokona Hall or the IT building
- R/E-lot Overflow, North of Yale Parking Structure
