Notice Regarding Parking Citation Fines - 12.2.2024

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) is notifying affected customers that parking fines have been updated in accordance with §29-5-1.1 NMSA 1978, effective immediately. Please note the following:
Revised Fine Amount on a $250 Citation
- If you received a $250 parking citation, issued on or after July 1, 2024, it will be adjusted in accordance with state statute (29-5-1.1) to a reduced fine amount of $100.
- A detailed email will be sent to affected customers within the next 7-10 business days.
