2025 Winter Intersession PATS Operations & Services

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) is notifying the UNM community and visitors of the 2025 Winter Intersession operations and services effective Monday, December 15 to Friday, January 16. UNM PATS will operate on the following schedule: 

BUSINESS OPERATIONS 

  • Monday, December 15 to Tuesday, December 23 
    • Normal Hours of Operation: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, December 24 to Friday, January 2 
    • CLOSED due to Winter Break 
  • Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 16 
    • Normal Hours of Operation: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

*As a reminder, you can manage your parking account, e.g. adding a new vehicle, appealing a citation, etc., through our website: pats.unm.edu (My Parking Account) 

 

ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS – Reduced Enforcement Hours 

Enforcement of parking on the UNM campuses – Central, North, and South – will be conducted per the UNM Parking Regulations and on the following schedule: 

  • Monday, December 15 to Tuesday, December 23 
    • Reduced Hours of Operation: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, December 24 to Friday, January 2 
    • CLOSED due to Winter Break 
  • Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 16 
    • Reduced Hours of Operation: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

*Per UNM Parking Regulations, parking garages, reserve, student resident parking, and pay station spaces and areas restricted by signage can be enforced 24/7. 

 

SHUTTLE SERVICE OPERATIONS – Reduced Shuttle Hours 

South and K-lot are closed effective Monday, December 15 through Friday, January 16. Valid South Lot permit (“25SOU”) and K-lot (“25KST” & “25KFS”) will be honored in Q-lot during this time. 

  • Monday, December 15 to Tuesday, December 23 
    • Reduced Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
    • G/Q, Redondo, Lobo Village, North Campus, T-Lot, & Rainforest 
      • No change/Routes unaffected 
    • Night Bus temporarily unavailable 
  • Wednesday, December 24 to Friday, January 2 
    • CLOSED due to Winter Break 
  • Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 16 
    • Reduced Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
    • See shuttle services above 

Shuttle service will resume to South lot and K-lot when they reopen for permit parking on Tuesday, January 20, the first day of the 2025 Spring semester.
