South Lot Parking Advisory due to Athletics Event

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (PATS) would like to inform South Lot permit holders about increased traffic near the football stadium during the New Mexico Soccer State Championships.

Thursday, 11/5/2026 and Friday, 11/6/2026 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Parking attendants will collect event parking fees in lots near the football stadium during championship events.
  • UNM students with a valid south lot parking permit may continue to park in these lots as usual.
  • Parking spaces will be reserved throughout the day to make sure students have places to park.
  • Drivers should expect more traffic on nearby roads and in parking lots due to the events.

We encourage you to plan your trip ahead of time and follow posted signs, barricades and guidance from parking staff to help keep traffic moving safely and smoothly.
