Intermittent Road Delays – April 28 to April 30

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform the UNM community to expect HEAVY VEHICLE AND FOOT TRAFFIC on main campus from Friday, April 28 to Sunday, April 30, due to several special events. Here’s what you need to know:

The special events include but are not limited to:

  • The Native America Basketball Shootout in Johnson Center, April 28–30
  • Albuquerque Youth Symphony concerts at Popejoy Hall, April 30
  • Nizhoni Days Pow-Wow festivities on Johnson Field, April 30 from 10 a.m.–7 p.m.

Road Delays:

  • Traffic congestion on Redondo Drive along Johnson Field

Event parking not permitted for:

  • A-lot near Central Avenue on Friday, unless using pay stations
  • R Zone including the R/E lot (SW corner of Central Avenue and Girard Boulevard)

Alternate event parking available at:

  • Pay station parking in the
    • Cornell parking structure, across from UNM Bookstore near Central Avenue
    • Yale parking structure, located near Yale Boulevard and Lomas Boulevard
