2024 PATS Trivia Tuesday, Rules & Regulations.

  1. Who can play? Open to all UNM students. Persons who live outside the U.S. or persons who are employed by UNM CANNOT participate in PATS Trivia Tuesdays (possibly also referred to elsewhere as “PATS Trivia Tuesday(s),” “Trivia Tuesday(s),” or “#TriviaTuesday(s)”). Void where prohibited. Participation subject to these official Rules & Regulations and PATS decisions, which are final and binding in all respects and not subject to appeal.
  2. How to play. Follow PATS on Facebook or X (@UNMPATS) or Instagram (@unm_pats). On Tuesdays at varying times (beginning on or after 10 a.m. MST), a trivia question regarding PATS, transportation, alternative transportation, parking, and/or topics about UNM will be posted on all three channels. Persons can comment the answer in the posts comment section or send PATS a direct message (DM). Persons who answer correctly will be placed in a raffle drawing for the weekly prize. An individual can increase their chances of winning by following another social media platform for up to three (3) entries per week.
  3. Rules of play. There is a limit of one comment or DM per person per PATS Trivia Tuesday; and, a given person may only use one (1) account per platform. Violation of these limits will result in disqualification. If the posted trivia question includes a designated hashtag (some questions will; some will not), be sure to include the designated hashtag in your comment or DM. ALL COMMENTS OR DMS REFLECT SOLELY THE OPINIONS OF INDIVIDUALS POSTING SAME, NOT THE OPINIONS OF UNM PARKING & TRANSPORTATION SERVICES. UNM PATS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY WITH REGARD TO THE CONTENT OF THE POST. Use of automated means of participation will result in disqualification. Any dispute as to the identity of the prize winner will be resolved by PATS in its sole discretion, based on the identity of the person who is the registered owner of the account used to participate.
  4. Winner Notification. The winner will be notified via direct message on a platform by 12 p.m. Thursday following Trivia Tuesday after PATS confirming that the answer in their answer is correct. Be sure that your account’s privacy settings allow for PATS to contact you via DM. If winner cannot be contacted for any reason or fails to respond to DM from PATS within 24 hours of receipt with their name, such winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize. PATS may also require winner to pick up the prize at the PATS Business office (2401 Redondo Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87106); and failure to do so will result in disqualification and prize forfeiture. In case of prize forfeiture, PATS shall reach out to the next person in line to receive the prize.
  5. General Restrictions. PATS computer is the official clock for all giveaways. PATS not responsible for late, garbled, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, delayed, or damaged posts/comments, which are void; for technological, programming, electronic, filtering by social media platforms functionality or other error/malfunction/failure of any kind. PATS’ failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules & Regulations shall not constitute the waiver of such provision. Tampering with any giveaway in any manner will result in disqualification from the giveaway (if applicable) and perhaps all giveaways and PATS may otherwise seek to protect its rights to the full extent allowed by law. If PATS determines in its sole discretion that a giveaway cannot be conducted as originally planned due to any cause beyond its control (e.g., computer virus/bug, tampering, fraud), PATS may cancel, modify, or suspend that giveaway and award the prize for the giveaway in a manner that PATS in its sole discretion determines is fair, appropriate, and consistent with these Official Rules & Regulations. Notice of such action will be posted by PATS.
  6. Who won? PATS may publish the account name of the winner of each giveaway to their social media platforms after prize award. Unless stated otherwise.
