UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform the UNM community to expect HIGH TRAFFIC & ROAD DELAYS on Friday, May 10 to Saturday, May 11 because of multiple events. Here’s what you need to know:
Friday, May 10 Special Events
- UNM Department Convocations, Various Locations – 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Beetlejuice the Musical, Popejoy Hall – 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Road Delays for Friday, May 10:
- Traffic congestion around UNM campuses due to convocations
- Traffic congestion along Redondo Drive near Cornell parking structure for event parking
Saturday, May 11 Special Events
- UNM Spring 2024 Commencement, University Arena “The Pit” – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- UNM Departmental Convocations, Various Locations – 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Beetlejuice the Musical, Popejoy Hall – 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Road Delays for Saturday, May 11:
- Traffic congestion on Avenida Cesar Chavez and University Boulevard
- Traffic congestion around UNM campuses due to convocations
- Traffic congestion along Redondo Drive near Cornell parking structure for event parking
Event parking not permitted for:
- R-lot including the R/E lot (SW corner of Central Avenue and Girard Boulevard).
Alternative routes/parking
- Yale parking structure, located near Yale & Lomas Boulevard
