Campus Boulevard Construction – 8.21 to 10.15.2024

UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform the UNM community with updated TRAFFIC FLOW PLAN with the parking improvements on Campus Boulevard. Here’s what you need to know:
Project key information:
- Estimated construction dates: Wednesday, August 21 – October 15, 2024
- Campus Blvd., near Stanford intersection to Girard intersection, click here to see a map
- Traffic will still be able to pass through the area, but drivers may see a slower pace to provide safety to workers on-site and pedestrians
- On-street parking on Campus Boulevard is unavailable until construction completion.
Traffic Flow:
- Median on Campus Boulevard will be fenced off with detours for pedestrian crossings. Please be aware of pedestrians in the area and proceed with caution.
- Access to the Vassar, Lomas parking structure, & R-IT lot will still be available to UNM & UNMH permit holders from the Girard and Campus intersection (going westbound on the North side of Campus Boulevard). There will be a one-way exit from the Lomas parking structure westbound (right turn only) on Campus to Lomas.
- South side of Campus Boulevard is restricted to eastbound traffic.
