Summer 2019 shuttle service and parking enforcement

UNM Parking and Transportation would like to inform the University community of upcoming changes to shuttle and enforcement operation to take place during the 2019 Summer break.

Shuttle Service
South Lot will be closed for the summer effective 7 p.m. on Friday, May 10 and will reopen at 6:30 a.m. on Monday Aug. 19. South Lot permits will be honored in Q Lot during this closure.

Redondo, G/Q, and T, routes will operate on a regular schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note that the night bus shuttle route will not operate during summer break (May 13- Aug. 16).

Rainforest shuttle will operate during the 2019 Summer semester (June 3 – July 26). There will be no Rainforest shuttle service during intersession (May 13 – 31, July 29 – Aug.16).

Lobo Village/SSSC combined shuttle service will begin Monday, May 13 and operate from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. During the summer break, the combination route will service the Yale Mall and SSSC/Research stops approximately every 20 minutes and the Lobo Village stop approximately every 40 minutes. The last shuttle will depart from Yale Mall at 6:50 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Parking Enforcement Hours
Summer enforcement hours begin on Monday, May 13. As of this date, the hours of parking enforcement on campus are as follows:

• Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Friday: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Parking Areas Subject to Enforcement 24/7
As a reminder, the Yale and Cornell parking structures and surface lot pay station parking spaces are subject to enforcement 24/7. Regulations pertaining to fire, safety, reserve and ADA accessible parking spaces are enforced 24/7, 365 days of the year. Student resident “R”, “S”, and "INV" zones are enforced fall, spring and summer semesters, Monday through Saturday.
