PATS Fall 2021 Services & Operations

This notice is to inform the University Community of UNM Parking & Transportation Services’ (UNM PATS) Fall 2021 schedules for its business (parking), shuttle and enforcement operations. These schedule changes go into effect on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, and are expected to remain in place through the end of the Fall 2021 Semester.
BUSINESS OPERATIONS
PATS Business Office (aka the parking office), located at 2401 Redondo Dr. NE, is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for walk-in service.
For any questions, email the business office at parktran@unm.edu, call us at (505) 277-1938 or connect with us virtually by using the “PATS Zoom Lobby” link on our website. Our team is available to assist you by phone, email, or zoom Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
As a reminder, you can easily manage your parking account, purchase parking a parking permit, pay or appeal a citation, add a new vehicle, or add/remove yourself from parking lot wait lists, and more through our website: pats.unm.edu, “My Parking Account”. Then log in with your UNM Net ID and password to get started.
ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS
Enforcement activities will operate on the regular fall/spring schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Friday: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
24 / 7 Enforcement: Please remember that any/all parking space restricted by signage, e.g., ADA, Reserved, Patient/Guest/Visitor, Pay Station, etc., as well as parking in the student “resident” parking areas (e.g., “R” zone) can be enforced 24 / 7, per UNM Parking Regulations.
Reserved Parking Management: If you have a Reserved parking space that has an unauthorized vehicle in it, please send an email to us at patsenforcement@unm.edu.

SHUTTLE SERVICE OPERATIONS
Shuttles will operate on the regular fall/spring schedule:
Monday – Thursday:
- 6:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- *7 p.m. – 10 p.m. (*Night Bus Route)
Friday:
- 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- South Lot, SSSC/Lobo Village route will stay the same (may combine into one route depending on ridership), and the Redondo-Main Campus will stay the same.
- Elks/U Lot Route
- Goes to Duck Pond
- Transfer at G-Lot to get to North Campus
- North Campus G/Q (aka “G/Q North”) Route
- Services G and Q –Lots, and North Campus
- Transfer at G-Lot to get to Main Campus
- Main Campus G/Q (aka “G/Q Duck Pond”) Route
- Services G and Q Lots, and Duck Pond
- Redondo Main Route
- Main Campus circulation only
- The T-Lot and Lobo Rainforest Routes will continue to be combined, and will run 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. The first pickup at Lobo Rainforest is 7:30 a.m. and the last will be at 6:30 p.m.
- The Mesa del Sol Route (MdS) schedule is updated throughout the semester; click here for the current schedule.
- Alvarado Transportation Center Route (ATC) will operate Monday through Friday on the following schedule:
- Arrive ATC at 7:05 a.m., depart 7:24 a.m.
- Depart Dane Smith at 3:45 p.m., arrive ATC at 4 p.m.
- Depart Dane Smith at 5:05 p.m., arrive ATC at 5:20 p.m.
