Departmental schedule changes due to the UNM 2021 Intersession & Winter Break

   UNM Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to inform customers of upcoming departmental schedule changes due to the UNM 2021 Intersession (Dec. 20-22, 2021, and Jan. 4-14, 2022) & Winter Break (Dec. 23, 2021 – Jan. 4, 2022).   

   

BUSINESS OPERATIONS   
 

Dec. 20 - 22, 2021 (intersession)    

o   The Business Office (aka the parking office) will follow its regular schedule Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As a reminder, you can manage your parking account, e.g., add a new vehicle, appeal a citation, etc., through your parking account: pats.unm.edu, My Parking Account.   
   

Dec. 23, 2021 – Jan.3, 2022 (Winter Break) 

o   Office closed due to university closure.   
   

Jan. 4 - 16, 2022 (Intersession)  

o   The Business Office will resume its regular schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   

  

ENFORCEMENT HOURS

Dec. 20 - 22, 2021 (Intersession)   

o   Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.    
   

Dec. 23, 2021 – Jan.3, 2022 (Winter Break)   

o   No enforcement due to university closure.   
   

Jan. 4 - 16, 2022 (Intersession)  

o   Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.    

 

Jan. 18 – May 14, 2022 (Spring Semester)  

o Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

o Friday, 8am to 5pm

o Saturday, 8am to 5pm

   

   



   

*Per UNM Parking Regulations, please remember that any/all parking space restricted by signage, e.g., ADA, Reserved, Patient/Guest/Visitor, Pay Station, etc., as well as parking in the student resident parking areas (e.g., “R” zone) can be enforced 24 / 7.    

   

   

SHUTTLE SERVICE   

 

Dec. 20 - 22, 2021 (Intersession) 
 

  • Shuttle Service will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  
      
  • G/Q, Redondo and SSSC/Lobo Village route will stay the same.  
      
  • The T-Lot and Lobo Rainforest shuttle routes will be combined, and will operate 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The first pick up at Lobo Rainforest is 7:30 a.m. and the last will be at 6:30 p.m.  
      
  • The “On-Demand” shuttle service will continue operate to/from the Medical Campus-G-Lot and U-Lot, Monday – Friday from 7:23 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (see posted schedule). If you require shuttle services to or from the U Lot and Medical Campus/G Lot), please call the Transportation Office at (505) 277-0850 during the schedule/posted time shown above.  
      
  • The Mesa del Sol (MdS) shuttle service does not operate when classes are not in session.    
      
  • South Lot will be temporarily closed, and shuttle service suspended. During Intersession, South Lot permits will be honored in Q Lot, which is located just northeast of University Blvd. and Camino del Sol intersection. 
      
  • Night Bus Route will not operate as shuttle service ends at 7 p.m.   
       

Dec. 23, 2021 – Jan.3, 2022 (Winter Break)  

 

  • No shuttle service due to university closure.   

  

Jan. 4 - 16, 2022 (Intersession):   

  • Shuttle Service will run Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (See details above for specific route information.)   
      
  • South Lot will be temporarily closed, and shuttle service suspended. During Intersession, South Lot permits will be honored in Q Lot, which is located just northeast of University Blvd. and Camino del Sol intersection. South Lot permits will no longer be valid for use in Q Lot as shuttle service to South Lot will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022. 

   

  • Regular shuttle services and operations including service to South Lot will resume at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, with the start of the spring semester.  South Lot permits will NO LONGER be valid for use in Q Lot.
